Orange County Commission District 2 Candidate, Greg Jackson, Holding "Grassroots Endorsement Rally," at the Orange County Administration Building

Greg Jackson, a past Florida Assistant Attorney General, military veteran having proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserve and Army National Guard, small business advisor, and active, rising community leader in Central Florida, is distinguishing himself from the other candidates in the Orange County Commission District 2 race, while garnering the support of local leaders. As a result,on July 7th, Jackson is scheduled to hold a "Grassroots Endorsement Rally," where a group of community leaders and elected officials will come out to support Jackson's Campaign for Orange County Commissioner District 2. To add to the suspense of the occasion, Jackson's team has opted to remain silent on the individuals who are coming out to endorse his campaign. However, Jackson had this to say about the soon to be disclosed endorsers, "anyone in this race, a county-wide or state race would be very proud to have their support."

Jackson has been receiving high praises from residents of District 2 and his campaign steadily building momentum after three recent candidate forums in Apopka and Pine Hills. At a forum in Apopka where five of the six candidates participated, a straw-poll was conducted of the attendees and Jackson received an astonishing 80.64% of the votes. "When you hear Greg Jackson speak, he speaks in clear terms about the needs of the entire community and provides a plan to address those needs." Said newly converted campaign supporter, Alicia Nickols. "Voters of District 2, if they sincerely want a new vision and direction, will find it very hard not to support Greg's grassroots campaign," she continued.

The Greg Jackson Grassroots Campaign Rally will take place 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Orange County Administration Building, located at 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801. Media and the public are welcomed to attend this event.
