WHO IS ALVIN MOORE

Alvin Moore Says He's Ready for the "Big League" - But, Eatonville Shows He Still Has A Lot of Work To Do

Alvin Moore shows up at every event making sure to pose for photographs with any past or current elected official willing to stand next to him, an apparent attempt to validate his own existence.

He tells anyone who will listen and has not followed his track record that he is ready to serve as the next Orange County Commissioner. But, to the people of Eatonville, whom he was elected to serve, Alvin Moore has been persona non grata - missing in action and unapologetically ignoring their needs as a community.

Alvin Moore has been a councilman with the town of Eatonville

since 2008, and for a time period, he also served as the President of the Eatonville

Community Re-Development Agency (CRA). However, during Alvin's entire tenure with Eatonville very little development, or re-development for that matter, has taken place in Eatonville from Alvin's leadership. This is very odd since Alvin touts himself as a successful Central Florida Realtor.

Eatonville, the Town that freedom built, with a population of approximately 2,200, has received little to no leadership from, or access to, their councilman, Alvin Moore; and now, he is trying to convince Orange County District 2 that he is ready for the "big league." But, a brief walk through Eatonville will reveal that Alvin Moore hasn't even started serving the people of Eatonville. So, how can he possibly be ready to serve and address the needs of over 113,000 voters throughout a diverse area that includes: Apopka, Zellwood, Ocoee, College Park, Lockhart, Pine Hills, etc.?

Alvin Moore needs to concentrate on his obligations to the people of Eatonville, whom he was elected to serve and he should try to make a difference there before he tries for the "big league" of Orange County.
