Daisy Lynum Is Circus Ringmaster Once Again

DogPonyShowby Lawrence A. Robinson
In a highly visible venue, Orlando City Commissioner Daisy Lynum has shown us once again what a failure she really is. On Thursday evening she scheduled a 'Town Hall' type meeting for the purpose of informing the residents of Parramore about what's happening at Tinker Field and other area hot topics.

Ms. Lynum convince the leaders of St. John's church to lay out tables with cloths so that the residents would enjoy a feast of food for their stomach while being fed garbage for their soul.

There were a lot of community leaders present, but most stayed in the back of the room, as not to be seen as part of this dog an pony circus.

Daisy is Ringmaster once again.

Here are some comment from social media that truly tells what the residents think of Daisy and her self righteous indignation. Also, there is a link from a local TV news channel who 'Tried' to cover the event but could only catch Daisy as she ran away.

The comments are unedited, and most of the names have been blocked.

****** Did you go?

****** Yes I did go. It was a complete waste of my time. There wasComproTax Cul 200X200 food and lots of it. I didn't eat. I wanted to hear something about Parramore. It was a political stunt. Daisy had her supporters one by one come out and give her praise or tell what they are doing for the community, none of which helped to change the lives of the people who lived there for the better. Daisy have to go. 16 years and all she can point to is failure.

****** Thanks so much for the info.

****** Thanks Lawrence Robinson for update. ...

****** Daisy should have been gone a long time ago. People need to understand that, just because one maybe black and educated it does not mean that they speak for all black people, especially if one does not see what's going on from ground level. That horse and pony show was just a political ploy! Even Stevie Wonder could have saw that! Ever wonder why they find it difficult to give up their seat at the end of their term! Daisy has an agenda alright, but it doesn't have anything to do with that district or anyone in that district and that's for certain!

****** Soccer owner Phil Rawling was less enthusiastic in discussing plans before this audience as before in the St John church setting that will displace another church, Faith Deliverance church. Overall the audience possessed unreceptive ears. However it was the meeting's actual purpose and preview topic. We could have done without DL's inflamatory intro: "Well if someone wants to give up their land for a project, then it's all said and done...over...and we move on" vs, we're eminent domaining and forcing them to give us their land. My question is, what made her tell a reporter on camera, "You don't know what the hell you're talking about?" Good PR, right ?

****** Amazing meeting.....no questions allowed by decree of Princess Lynum. Loved her statement at the end of the clip as she jumped to her car with her private police guy driving. We pay for him.

****** "when the Unjust Rule...the people suffer" Prov.29:2

****** Like her $4,000 worth of sweet smelling flowers we purchased along with her $20,000 worth of get aways and lavish hotels when she get there. What is sadder is she has no shame. When most in her district make less than $12,000 per year.

Elect Regina Hill for City Commissioner District 5
When you respect someone's worth, you are willing to have a true conversation with them. Daisy Lynum has proven time and again that she doesn't respect the residents of Parramore. Regina Hill is someone who will fight for you and she respects you.

****** ...or less.

****** I've never seen Daisy move that fast before to get out of that meeting and away from reporters.

****** It was intresting that Sam Ings hung around and (much to the surprise of Comm. Lynum), suggested that Tinker Field should be saved. I have never been to a public meeting where NO questions were allowed. Nor have I ever been to a meeting that nobody knew about 24 hours before except the friends of the Commissioner. It's possible that Daisy does "not know what the hell SHE is talking about".

****** ******, she stated it was run down and shouldn't be saved from what I heard her say. She stated it wasn't worth investing 3 million on due to it's dilapidated state. My thoughts were she has been the City Commissioner who should have advocated over her 16 year so call LEGACY she say's she PROUD of for improvement. The dilapidation happen on her watch, So who's to blame!! Sam Ings stated he wanted to save it.

****** If Daisy acted any differently then it would be shocking. Her attitude even on an open microphone the reporting was holding was true Daisy form- classless and disrespectful. If Daisy receives more than 5% of this vote, I will be shocked. She so very clearly doesn't give a damn about the residents and business owned in D5, because the deals have already been done and her rewards already received.

****** She never considered anyone tonight!

****** TONIGHT?? EVER...the epitome of "If I give you love today(during her campaign),will you respect me tomorrow? (Incumbent). Her answer, a resounding NO.

****** I'm like a parrot and my words about her haven't changed since I first met her in 2012- "She is out for herself only."

Clinton Salter- The day has arrived to have a Community Agenda, of strategic and beneficial plans that include the priorities of our residents and not just for the visitors of our region, and thank God for the tourists BUT they can't be our priority. Our communities are not just to be used as a source of tax revenue or just cheap labor when skilled jobs go elswhere. Let's use our precious 'Hard Won' right to cast votes as tool to turn the tables on those that don't bring our communities just and fair wages, better 21st century jobs training, quality education, and decent housing.

Clinton Salter- The Mayor is in the business of bargaining for a Vision which leaves a lot to be desired and he is on a mission to make Orlando a fairy tale but it ends up looking more like the "Horror Shows" since he never attempted to address any of the local priorities i.e. the 150 affordable housing that never got off the ground and tonight we heard about 111 more 'Fantasy homes' during the 'Dog and Pony' show roll-out at the church. Equal access to the tax dollars that are a means to improved economic conditions within our City. Too often it only get's us some Dumpster Art, yeah that's right DUMPSTER ART!!! Now that is some REAL garbage!

Clinton Salter- Revitalization is more than pretty speeches about the doubling of the city skyline which WE also paid for in incentives to the builder's but didn't create any real benefit to the city other than the sight of more tall eyesores that make us look like a Big City and like the transplant designers of these New York architectural features they leaves us just as BROKE...and the BROKEN promises are more beginning to add up. Orlando needs more responsible leadership that truly believes in making a difference instead of widening the wealth gap on behalf of Big companies. We need sustainable local interests that will begin to seed real economic redevelopment, like helping to begin to use our tax dollars to salvage Historic sites and providing partnership to the faith based ministries that anchor any community in value based investment and Orlando could become a model of helping to rebuild from the worst recession in 80 years. The lost dreams of home ownership is devastating in Central Florida but you wouldn't know it in the Mayor's spending on big monuments($2 billion) that doesn't leave much for anything else, well except an $80 million soccer stadium that will host 12-15 events. People matter and always have and I would love to hear the Mayor's of this region act responsible enough and sensitive about that notion enough to make us believe in fair and open government again.
