ARMY VETERAN WRITES STAGE PLAY TO SHOW CONCERN FOR MURDERED TEENS, Comedy Tragedy “The Haunting of a Teen” Stage Play Coming Soon

As a Mentor in the community for over 20 years, going at it alone caused much hardships and major burnout for me. Trying to persuade organizations, churches, and individuals in the community to work together and stand up for our youth were my only problems.

In the few communities that I have serviced, there have been over 20 youth murders and deaths reported. These numbers are quite shocking; because you would think that the only problems our youth should have would be passing high school and picking a college to attend.

After the recent nationwide response to a tragedy that involved a teen murder in Florida; it seems that more citizens are now ready to act. The President of the U.S.A. has even taken it personal. This tragedy has caused our Nation to Take a Stand. No more lip service….It’s TIME to ACT!

It seems as though our youth are now in a position where they have to second guess adults. Are they safe in their own communities, will the adults protect them or are they going to be looked at as suspects because of their dress code? So now who do they turn to? What are they to do now? Where are the Mentors, Role Models, and Advocates?

As a Playwright, youth advocate, and mentor to youth; I have written a Stage Play production that may be an eye opener for the community. We will first need to pull all of our resources together and take a stand for our children and young adults.

I have formed a small team that consist of U.S. Military Veterans that have strategies that we feel will work; but it will take the support of Policy makers and the communities at large to see it through.

No More Funerals! No More Jails! No More Killings! No more community crimes! No more division!
