Teddy Cruz, Super Starr, Do You Think You’re Who They Say You Are? A Look at History Repeated: An Uneasy Description of “McCarthyism” & “Cruz Control” The Twin Demagogues of National Destruction.

 Joe Mac & “McCartyism”

“Tailgunner Joe" McCarthy was a extremely, egotistical, dangerously powerful predator assassin U.S. Senator who served as a “Republican U.S. Senator” from 1947 until his death by alcoholism in the year of Elvis & Classic Chevy’s, 1957.

McCarthy, beginning in 1950, became the most visible public face of that time period. His “Reign of Terror” lasted a long, and frightenly miserable 7 years. With the Cold War tensions fueled fears of widespread Communist infiltration and subversion; “tailgunner” Joe was widely known for making claims that there were large numbers of Communists, Soviet spies and U.S.S.R. sympathizers inside the United States federal government and every strata of America society, including Hollywood.

Thankfully in time, McCarthy’s tactics and inability to substantiate his claims led him to be censured by the United States Senate. The term McCarthyism, coined in 1950 in reference to McCarthy's practices, was soon applied to similar anti-communist activities and other unsubstantiated attacks on individuals by elected public official. Today the term is used more generally in reference to demagogic, reckless, and unsubstantiated accusations, as well as public attacks on the character or patriotism of political opponents.

After three undistinguished years in the Senate, McCarthy rose suddenly to national fame in February 1950 when he asserted in a speech that he had a list of "members of the Communist Party and members of a spy ring" who were employed in the State Department. McCarthy was never able to prove his sensational charge.

With the highly publicized Army vs. McCarthy hearings of 1954, McCarthy's support and popularity faded. Finally, Thankfully and 7 years too late, on December 2, 1954, the Senate voted to censure Senator McCarthy by a vote of 67 to 22, making him one of the few senators ever to be disciplined in this fashion. McCarthy died in Bethesda Naval Hospital on May 2, 1957, at the age 48. Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Ted Put The Nation: On “Cruz” Control

Ted Cruz is an extremely, egotistical, dangerously powerful predator assassin who serves as a freshman Republican U.S. Senator. Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall. This One Freshman Senator took control of the Nation and shut the Nation down for his personal pleasure. Under the pre-text of hating a law that has already passed political muster and one law that seems to be loved by the people as evidenced by the number of calls to the Affordable Health Care Act website. In
swollen fit of Megalomania, Mr. Cruz has held the Nation hostage much like his predecessor Sen. Tailgunner Joe McCarthy. Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Now unlike his other Evil Twin Senate predecessor, the hard drinking Joe McCarthy who terrorized the Nation for 7 years, “Baby Joe Mac” aka Ted Cruz’s stock is unraveling as we speak. For starters, it’s just not too smart to upstage, irritate and embarrass senior colleagues whose cooperation and support you’ll need in the future. Especially if you have Presidential aspiration, as most suspect, Cruz does. Second, as a conservative he should understand humility and grace are not incompatible with “standing on principle”; the absence of these qualities doesn't make him more principled or more effective. Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Now Nobody Loves Frankenstein’s Monster

In a statement that reflected an obvious second thinking of the endorsement of Cruz, the Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s own hometown print news agency has expressed its regrets for endorsing him a year ago. Since Cruz was one of the chief architects of the imbecilic impasse. Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

“Does anyone else miss Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson?” asked the Houston Chronicle editorial board, citing the three-term U.S. senator whom Cruz replaced. “We're not sure how much difference one person could make in the toxic, chaotic, hyperpartisan atmosphere in Washington, but if we could choose just one it would be Hutchinson, whose years of service in the Senate were marked by two things sorely lacking in her successor, Ted Cruz.” Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Those, the editorial said were a focus on Texas’ interests in Washington and a willingness to reach across the aisle and work with Democrats.
“When we endorsed Ted Cruz in last November's general election, we did so with many reservations and at least one specific recommendation - that he follow Hutchinson example in his conduct as a senator,” the editorial board stated. “Obviously, he has not done so. Cruz has been part of the problem in specific situations where Hutchinson would have been part of the solution.” Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Cruz, The Scary Reincarnation of McCarthy

Both McCarthy & Cruz did major damage to this country, its citizens, to our nation interest, the GOP & they both did/are doing major to their own reputation is irreparable. Cruz is feeling his oats on this Day After, staging a photo op in front from of the White House. Cruz is celebrating the victory in his own mind of “His” defeat of whatever his self-indulging personality feels it was. While the rest of the Nation as well as the World is getting up off the canvas after being sucker punched by a "Cruz Missile". Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.

Father & Grandson?

There is also this a really eerie resemblance between the two that goes beyond chilling. Makes me wonder, if the curse of “Tailgunner” Joe has been reborn, al-be-it a very short lived version, to continue his reign of terror using Cruz missiles on Cruz Control.” Pride, it is said, goeth before a fall.
